Sneva Holds On

Mon., May 17, 1999

Blaine Sneva took the lead on lap 22, held off a couple of brief challenges from Tom Hamilton and won the 50 lap Northwest Modified Series feature race Saturday night at Stateline Speedway.

Hamilton, and race runner-up Josh Roberts tangled in a last-lap accident that dropped Hamilton from second to eighth. Marty Pfaffle of Moses Lake was third.

Rob Vest won his third Street Stock race in as many races this season, while Ron Nance won his second consecutive Hobby Stock main. Pete Munk won the feature race in the Old Time Racers class.
