Album Will Benefit Refugees
Pearl Jam, Alanis Morissette, Neil Young and other top acts will appear on “No Boundaries,” a compilation album created for the benefit of the refugees of Kosovo.
The 16-track album, which will be released June 15 by Epic Records, will feature rare, live and previously unreleased special versions of songs by an array of international musicians.
Pearl Jam’s version of “Last Kiss,” the 1964 hit by J. Frank Wilson & the Cavaliers, will be the first single, slated for a June 8 in-store release.
In advance of the album release date and based on projected sales of the album, Epic Records will make an initial donation of $1 million to be distributed among CARE, OXFAM and Doctors Without Borders, which are working to provide food, shelter, medical care and other needs to the refugees.
