Ewu Gallery Program Seeks Display Pieces For Next Season
The Gallery Program at Eastern Washington University is accepting slides and proposals for review for exhibitions in the gallery during the 1999-2000 season.
Send 10-20 slides of current work, resume, self-addressed, stamped envelope and a check payable to “Friends of the Gallery” for $15 handling fee to Richard Twedt, director of University Galleries, Department of Art, MS-102, 526 Fifth St., Eastern Washington University, Cheney, WA 99004-2431.

Auditions
Dance Theatre Northwest is holding auditions for its company from 5-7:30 p.m. June 2 at The Academy of Dance, 14214 E. Sprague. Advanced-intermediate and advanced level dancers ages 12 and older who take a minimum of three ballet technique classes per week are invited to audition. For more information, call 922-3023.
Classes
The Spokane Art School has issued a schedule of two-week classes for the Summer Art Institute for children ages 4 through high school at the school, 920 N. Howard. Five-week classes for adults will run in two different sessions. Children’s and adult sessions begin June 21. For a complete list of classes, call the school at 328-0900.
Kudos
Dede McKay and Dan McCann both of Spokane have won awards in the Carnegie Art Center Annual Regional Juried Art Show, which was juried by Lorinda Knight Gallery of Spokane. A total of 272 entries were received. and 75 were accepted. The art show continues through June 5 at the center, 109 S. Palouse, Walla Walla.
