Robert R. and Lora M. Rickard, Spokane, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception in the parish hall of St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church at 1 p.m. today.

Hosts for the event will be their sons: Rory Rickard, Republic, Wash., Dan Rickard, and Randy and his wife Audrey Rickard, all of Colville, Wash.

The Rickards were married May 28, 1949, in Spokane. They have nine grandchildren.
