Armed Robber Hits Convenience Store
An armed robber struck a North Spokane BP convenience store early Sunday, escaping on foot with some cash.
Spokane Police said the man entered the store at 1023 W. Wellesley about 1:30 a.m. with a stocking mask over his face. The man displayed a handgun and demanded that the clerk give him money from the cash register.
Witnesses watched the man flee down an alley. Officers later used a police dog to track the robber for a short distance before losing the trail.
Police described the robber as a white male in his 20s, medium height and build, with light facial hair and a mustache.
