The following offices and services will be affected by the Veteran’s Day holiday Nov. 11.

Garbage service will not be affected.

City and county offices will be closed.

Post offices will be closed.

State liquor stores will not be affected.

Most banks will be closed. Check with individual branches as several local offices will remain open.

Area schools will be affected as follows: Bonner County, 11:30 a.m. early release Nov. 11 and 12; Boundary County, no school Nov. 11 and 12; Kellogg District 391 and Mullan District 392 will not be affected; Wallace District 393, no school Nov. 11 and 12; Plummer/Worley District 44, no school grades K-7 Nov. 11 and 12, grades 8-12 in session both days; St. Maries Joint District 41, no school for grades K-6 Nov. 11, grades K-12 no school Nov. 12; Post Falls District 273, no school grades K-5 Nov. 11 and 12, grades 6-12 will be in session both days; Lakeland District 272 will not be affected; Avery District 394, regular classes Nov. 11, grades K-12 no school Nov. 12; Coeur d’Alene District 271, no school grades K-12 Nov. 11, grades K-12 in session Nov. 12; Kootenai District 274, regular classes for K-12 Nov. 11, no school grades K-12 Nov. 12.
