Edna Colvin Potlatch, Idaho
Memorial service for Edna L. Colvin, 77, will be at 11 a.m. today at Rock Creek Cemetery near Potlatch. Kramer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Colvin, who was born on Jerome Creek near Potlatch, died Nov. 8.
She graduated from Potlatch High School in 1940. She married Marchant Colvin in 1942, and they lived in Harvard, Idaho, until 1944 when they moved to Clarkston, Wash. They returned to Potlatch in 1969.
She was a homemaker and a custodian for Potlatch Presbyterian Church.
Her husband died in 1998.
Survivors include a son, Mel Colvin of Princeton, Idaho; a daughter Laura Walker of Viola, Idaho; two sisters, Margaret Lane of Post Falls and Lois Young of Coeur d’Alene; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Potlatch Ambulance Fund or to the Potlatch Senior Citizens.
Charles McNicholl Coeur d’Alene
No service will be held for Charles J. McNicholl, 90, at his request. English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d’Alene is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. McNicholl, who was born in Duluth, Minn., died Thursday.
He grew up and was educated in Hibbing, Minn. In 1931 he married Martha White.
Mr. McNicholls had worked in the banking industry as a bank teller and assistant manager. He then worked in the diesel motor plant at General Motors in Detroit. He later moved to California and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in North Hollywood before settling in the Coeur d’Alene area, where he was a school bus driver and a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, James McNicholl of California; two daughters, Janet Dougan of Coeur d’Alene and Maryann Herin of California; a brother, David McNicholl of Connecticut; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Marie Pfeil Post Falls
Memorial service for Marie A. Pfeil, 73, will be held at a later date. English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Pfeil, who was born in Ogden, Utah, died Thursday.
She grew up in Pennsylvania and later lived in Phoenix before settling in Post Falls in 1992.
Mrs. Pfeil was a member of Post Falls Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Bob Pfeil of Palmer, Alaska; a daughter, Darlene Shuck of Post Falls; a sister, Gracie Young of Grand Junction, Colo.; four half-sisters and seven grandchildren.

Annabelle Jenkins Spokane
Memorial services for Annabelle Marie Jenkins, 88, will be at 1 p.m. today at Riplinger Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Pines Cemetery.
Mrs. Jenkins, who was born in Miles, Wash., died Wednesday. She was a resident of Spokane for more than 57 years.
She worked as a sales clerk for Ken Bush Clothing and was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Evelyn Hanson and Viola Henriksen, both of Spokane; a stepdaughter, Marilyn McKenzie of Seattle; two sisters, Gertrude Detillion and Clara Lorsung, both of Spokane; a brother, Ross Detillion of Trentwood; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Lois Peck Spokane
Service for Lois M. Peck, 97, will be at 3 p.m. today at Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Peck, who was born in Winona, Minn., died Wednesday.
She was a Spokane resident for 40 years and worked as a nurse’s aide.
Her husband, Clarence, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Peck is survived by a daughter, Virginia Moody of Spokane; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild.
Floyd Bartram Moscow, Idaho
Viewing for Floyd Washington Bartram, 93, will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday at Kimball Funeral Home in Pullman. Service will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Pullman Church of the Nazarene with burial to follow at Pullman City Cemetery.
Mr. Bartram, who was born at Chelan Butte near Lake Chelan, Wash., died Thursday.
He grew up on the family homestead at Chelan Butte and attended school there before moving to Richland in 1920.
Mr. Bartram attended school in Richland and worked on an irrigation canal using a team of horses. He also ran a combine during harvest season in Dayton, Wash.
He moved to Potlatch, Idaho, with his family in 1924, and gathered and sold wood. He moved to Pullman in 1926.
Mr. Bartram married Alice Besson in 1934, and the couple lived in Pullman, where they operated a farm and ranch. He also worked for a contractor doing various projects on the Washington State University campus. He later worked for WSU’s buildings and grounds department. He retired in 1970.
He later moved to the Good Samaritan Village in Moscow.
Mr. Bartram was a charter member of Pullman Church of the Nazarene and had been a member of the WSU Quarter Century Club for more than 60 years.
His wife died in 1996.
Survivors include a daughter, Martha Lawrence of California; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Max Orr Oldtown, Idaho
Military graveside service for Max Orr, 82, was Thursday at Newport (Wash.) Cemetery.
Born in Lynch, Neb., Mr. Orr died Monday.
He served in the Army during World War II. He was a member of the 25th Infantry Division and was involved in the Battle of Guadalcanal.
Mr. Orr moved to Bonner County, Idaho, in 1948 and settled in Blanchard.
He married Vida Brown in 1949 and in the early 1950s they moved to Oldtown. She died in 1955.
Mr. Orr married Lois Allbee in 1957.
He worked for Diamond International for more than 28 years, retiring in 1979 as a planer set-up technician.
Mr. Orr was a member of the local woodworkers union.
His wife died in 1993.
Survivors include three daughters, April Dunbar of Spokane, Maxine Corning of Wilbur, Wash., and Carolyn Knudsen of Eagle River, Alaska; three sons, Jerry and Terry Allbee, both of Oldtown and Stan Orr of Seattle; a brother, Lyle Orr of Oldtown; two sisters, Ora-Mae McGuire and Oreatha Hotaling, both of Bothell, Wash.; 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Ruth `Katie’ Conley Spokane
Visitation for Ruth Kathryn “Katie” Conley will be from noon to 6 p.m. today and Sunday at Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral service is planned for 1:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
A lifetime Spokane resident, Mrs. Conley died Wednesday. She was 82.
She graduated from North Central High School in 1935.
In 1940 she married Ted Conley in Coeur d’Alene. Mrs. Conley worked as a beauty consultant at The Crescent department store for many years.
She was a member of the Moose Lodge Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Kip Conley of Spokane; two brothers, Earl and Bruce Forlind of California; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Alston `Tony’ Frost Spokane
Graveside service for Alston Franklin “Tony” Frost will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Pines Cemetery. Riplinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Frost, who was born in Puerto Rico, died Wednesday. He was 45.
He graduated from North Central High School and was a 26-year Spokane resident.
Mr. Frost served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Megan Caulkins of Portland; a brother, Brian Frost, and three sisters, Monte Froste, Mary Stewart, and Tessa McKay; and his fiancee, Cathy Paupst.
