Post Falls Winter Activity Guide Available

The Post Falls Parks and Recreation Department has issued its guide to activities and services for the winter.

The 15-page booklet includes classes on cross country skiing, ice skating, snowshoeing, aerobics, dance, karate, guitar and various arts and crafts. The department also will offer a “Kamp Ka-Mee-Lin Winter Day Kamp” at Q’Emiln Riverside Park, and youth and adult sports leagues.

The guide includes information about Post Falls parks, how to contact department personnel and about a proposed skate park for the city.

“We hope folks will tell us what they think about it and also tell us what they’d like us to be doing in addition to the things they see in the guide,” Parks and Recreation Director Bill Musson said.

The guide is available at the Parks and Recreation Department office next to City Hall. For more information, call the recreation office at (208) 773-0539 or the parks and urban forestry office at (208) 773-8147.
