Houn-Smith Liberty Lake

The marriage of Shelley Marie Smith to Mathew Mark Houn was solemnized in a Sept. 11 ceremony at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church.

Tom and Mary Smith, Clarkston, Wash., are the parents of the bride. Houn is the son of Ann Mitzel and John Houn, both of Tukwila, Wash.

A reception followed at the DoubleTree Hotel downtown. The couple are living in Liberty Lake after a honeymoon at Fairmont Hot Springs in British Columbia.

The bride and groom are teachers. The bride is a graduate of Washington State University and Gonzaga University. The groom graduated from Eastern Washington University.
