John and Marianne Walker celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary July 21 with a surprise dinner at Percy’s Cafe Americana.

Hosts for the event were their children and spouses: Terry and Nikki Walker, Chris and Gaylynn Kallum, and Wayne and Denise Walker, all of Colville, Wash.; Russell and Roseanne Walker, Spokane; and Joyanne Walker, Seattle.

The Walkers were married Aug. 21, 1959, in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. They have 14 grandchildren.
