Marvin and Joan Dorendorf celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 15 with a family gathering at the Kellogg Elks Club.

The family also observed the event with a Caribbean cruise.

Hosts for the gathering were their children and spouses: Sandra Tiefisher, Hayden Lake; Marc and Debbie Dorendorf, Spokane; and Sally and Paul Potter, Ketchikan, Alaska.

The Dorendorfs were married Aug. 20, 1949, in Lewiston. They have seven grandchildren.
