Lloyd Banks Greenacres
Visitation for Lloyd Dean Banks, 70, will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home. Memorial service also will be at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Banks, who was born in Lynd, Minn., died Wednesday.
He was a resident in the Spokane area, including Cheney and Greenacres, for 65 years.
Mr. Banks graduated from Cheney High School in 1947 and served in the Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Banks graduated from the Milwaukee (Wis.) School of Engineering in air conditioning and refrigeration.
He worked in that field until he retired in 1992.
Survivors include his wife Karol; two sons, Steven Banks of Spokane and David Banks of Priest River, Idaho; a sister, Mariam Bartlett of Cheney; two brothers, Jack Banks of Auburn, Wash., and Bruce Banks of Salem, Ore.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Jim Jeffries Spokane
Memorial service for Jim Dean Jeffries, 47, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Loon Lake (Wash.) Assembly of God Church. Hazen and Jager Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A lifetime resident of the Spokane area, Mr. Jeffries died Nov. 12.
He was a heavy equipment operator.
Mr. Jeffries is survived by his son, J. C. Jeffries of Spokane.
Robert Lowell Spokane
A private funeral will be held for Robert “Bob” J. Lowell, 75, at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-North. Burial will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
Born in Spokane, Mr. Lowell died Thursday.
He graduated from North Central High School in 1942 and served in the Navy during World War II. He also was involved with naval intelligence in China during the Korean War.
He married Betty Mizell in 1946 and owned and operated Lowell Industries in Spokane from 1947 to 1970. He then worked as a sheet-metal worker for American Sign and Indicator from 1970 until he retired in 1986.
Mr. Lowell is survived by his wife, Betty Lowell; three sons, Gary and Michael Lowell, both of Spokane, and Dan Lowell of Sacramento, Calif.; a sister, Joan Little of Spokane; and one grandchild.
Frank Rudisile Spokane
Memorial service for Frank E. Rudisile, 93, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Heritage Funeral Home.
Born in Denver, Mr. Rudisile died Thursday. He was a Spokane resident for 55 years.
Mr. Rudisile served in the Navy during World War II in the Philippines and was discharged in 1945.
He married Margaret Langsett in 1949 and owned and operated Best Buy Surplus in Spokane for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Rudisile; four daughters, Joyce Easley, Diana Strasser and Nancy Mitchem, all of Spokane, and Margie King of Newman Lake; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
