Say What?

Every month, members of the Our Generation Advisory Board pose a question to students at their schools. The latest question was:

What color crayon would taste the best, and why?

“Orange peach. Mmmmmmmm…peaches.”

- Todd Adolfson Lewis & Clark sophomore

“Is there a Brad Pitt crayon?”

- Tess Hembree Lewis & Clark sophomore

“Periwinkle. Not too bright, a subtle shade, guaranteed to not upset the stomach.”

- Cassie Porter Central Valley senior

“Blue would taste the best because, well, ummm, let’s see… Well, the sky is blue and so is water so the crayon must be yummy.”

- Josh Schulter Central Valley senior

“Yellow, because it’s my favorite color and it might taste like sunshine.”

- Jenni Abitz West Valley junior

“Yellow because it’s the color of friendship and my friends would be the only ones to shove a crayon down my throat.”

- Stephanie Scherr West Valley sophomore

“Red because it might taste like cherries.”

- Kirsten Sather West Valley sophomore

“Yellow because macaroni and cheese is yellow, and I like to eat macaroni and cheese.”

- K.C. Warren West Valley sophomore

“The special edition Red, White and Blue, because it would have three flavors rather than just one.”

- John Meloche North Central senior

“Not brown because of everything else that’s brown.”

- Tyler Corcoran and Josh Schiel Mead sophomores

“Yellow because when you taste the rainbow, yellow is the best.”

- Molly Marshall Mead sophomore

“The red crayon because everything red tastes good.”

- Melissa Watson Lewis and Clark senior

“Green because it looks good.”

- Christina Hoisington Chase Middle School seventh-grader
