The DoubleTree Hotel in the Valley was the setting for the Sept. 4 wedding of Mellissa Dawn McLeod and Casey Patrick Gonser.

The bride is the daughter and stepdaughter of Danita and Dana Johnson, Cheney, and Paul and Joy McLeod, Brookings, Ore. The bridegroom is the son of Sally Gonser, Gunnison, Colo., and the stepson of Paul Gonser, Ritzville, Wash.

A reception followed at the wedding site. The couple are living in Spokane after a honeymoon in Edmonton, Alberta.
