DHL International Ltd. will become the first buyer of Boeing Co.’s converted 757 passenger airliner, taking at least 34 planes in what will be the biggest aircraft purchase in the delivery company’s 30-year history, people familiar with the order said. The order is expected to be worth $1.3 billion.

Hewlett-Packard Co. warned Friday it will report quarterly sales at the low end of Wall Street projections after an earthquake last month in Taiwan slowed production of parts that power its computers and other machines.
