Collin Henderson 18-yard pass from Steve Birnbaum, Rian Lindell kick. Twelve plays, 59 yards, 4:23. Faced with third-and-16 at the Cal 45, Birnbaum found Nian Taylor for a 17-yard gain to keep the drive alive.

Lindell 40-yard field goal. Four plays, seven yards, :28. Lindell popped up the kick off at the 30-yard-line, where Fa’avae Fa’avae fumbled the ball. Jeremy Thielbahr recovered the fumble for the Cougars.
