Firefighters Contain Millsap Loop Blaze

Firefighters were battling a timber and brush fire south of Interstate 90 in the Millsap Loop area on Tuesday afternoon.

Preliminary reports estimated the fire was about 10 acres. Firefighters from Post Falls Fire District and the Idaho Department of Lands were called to the scene.

Firefighters were dispatched by the Coeur d’Alene Interagency Dispatch Center at 3:43 p.m.

The fire had been contained by 5:30 p.m., but crews were scheduled to be on the scene all night.
