Retreats

The Immaculate Heart Retreat Center at 6910 S. Ben Burr Road will host two retreats next weekend. Rev. Paul Graves, a United Methodist pastor, will present “Breaking Bread and Other Things: Jesus as the Radical Host of God” next Saturday and Sunday. The session will examine Gospel stories which feature Jesus as God’s radical host.

The second retreat, titled “Healing the Whole Person,” will be led by Abbot David Geraets, who is involved in the Charismatic Renewal movement. The retreat, held Friday through Sunday, will focus on scripture, inner healing and physical healing.

Both retreats are $110 per person or $185 per couple. Advance reservations are recommended. For information, call the retreat center at 448-1224.
