Clarence Miller Anchorage, Alaska
Graveside services for Clarence C. Miller, 64, will be held at 10 a.m today at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens. His ashes will be scattered in Resurrection Bay, Alaska, and in Hayden Lake, Idaho.
Mr. Miller, who was born in Almont, N.D., died Sunday of a heart attack while fishing in Resurrection Bay, Alaska.
He grew up in the Hayden Lake area and served in the Navy for four years before moving back to Hayden Lake. He ran two small businesses there and one in Worley, Idaho.
Mr. Miller moved to Alaska in 1981 and worked for DHL Express and Eagle Hardware.
Survivors include five sons, Curt, Craig and Ted Miller, all of Anchorage, Brad Miller of Vancouver, Wash., and Ray Garcia of Tokyo, Japan; one daughter, Susie Peak of Boise; three sisters, Shirley Carr and Madeline Foster of Las Vegas and Adeline Hoover of Mesa, Ariz.; and two brothers, Jim and Ernie Miller.
