Learn Tips On First Aid For Pets

Like people, pets sometimes need first aid, too.

The Panhandle Chapter of the American Red Cross is presenting a Pet First Aid Course on Sept. 23 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Pet Stop in Hayden, Idaho.

The course covers basic first aid, CPR, transporting injured animals, weatherrelated injuries, injury prevention and birthing.

Cost is $20, which includes a handbook.

For safety reasons, participants are asked to leave their pets at home.
