Winning Ugly

The winner had to clash with interior designs and even be ugly enough to repel cat claws. And Elizabeth O’Bryan’s nauseating orange, yellow and black ‘70s swhirl pattern couch fit the bill. O’Bryan’s couch won top honors at Sure Fit’s fifth annual Ugly Couch Contest. O’Bryan, of Woodbury, Conn., Received $5,000 for a piece of furniture she says “raises the eyebrows of guests.”
