Owners Extend Sidewok With 2Nd Store
Owners of the SideWok Oriental Express in Liberty Lake have branched out, opening a new restaurant near Millwood.
The cafe, now open in the Albertson’s shopping center at Argonne and Trent, is busy serving up General’s Chicken, SideWok Chow Mein and other favorites.
Terry Knight and Doug Peterson opened their second store this summer after the first cafe, which they started in February of 1998, became a popular dinner spot among residents of the eastern Valley. The new spot, next to the Starbuck’s coffee house, seats 30 people. For folks who don’t feel like soaking up the 1,300-square foot cafe’s atmosphere, take-out and delivery are available.
SideWok is open every day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Window blind business opens
Cleaning window blinds is a tedious and often frustrating process.
But a new Spokane Valley business can do the dirty work for you.
Hang & Shine ultrasonic blind cleaning, run by Bob and Heather Harvego, can clean just about anything that hangs on a window.
The home business, which started up this summer, just acquired a new mobile truck. So folks don’t even have to take the window coverings out of the house to get them spic-n-span, Bob Harvego said.
Hang & Shine does free home estimates as well as same-day pick up and delivery for larger jobs, Harvego said. Business hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and afterhours by appointment.
