Children’S Corner Hosts Four Authors

Taking advantage of the Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association’s fall trade show, which will begin a three-day run at the Spokane Convention Center on Friday, the Children’s Corner Bookshop plans to play host to “Four Authors in One Weekend.”

Peg Kehret, author of “Shelter Dogs” and “I’m Not Who You Think I Am,” will read from her works beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday at the store, which is located at 714 W. Main on the skywalk level of River Park Square.

Bill Nye, known as “The Science Guy” and author of “Big Blue Ocean,” will appear at 2 p.m. Saturday. James Gurney, author/ illustrator of “Dinotopia: First Flight,” will follow Nye at 3:30 p.m.

On Sunday at noon, David Wisniewski will read from his new book “Tough Cookie.”
