Jazz Ensemble Auditions Scheduled

Jazz musicians in the Spokane area are invited to audition for open positions in a new jazz ensemble being formed by the music faculty at Spokane Falls Community College.

There will be an open audition and sight-reading session from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in room 113 of the SFCC Music/ Performing Arts Building at 3410 W. Fort George Wright Drive.

The ensemble is expected to perform both traditional and contemporary jazz selections, doing concerts at area clubs and festivals. Practices will be held every Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

There is a $10 registration fee.
