Buds For Bulls

Wildlife conservation

The King of Beers has brewed a plan to help elk, deer, ducks and quail.

For every case of Budweiser sold Sept. 6-Oct. 15, participating Anheuser-Busch wholesalers will donate a percentage of profits to the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, according to company spokeswoman Sandy Schenck.

The NFWF plans to match the beer money and distribute the total- expected to be about $300,000-among the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Buckmasters American Deer Foundation, Ducks Unlimited and Quail Unlimited.

“The money will go directly to the organizations’ on-the-ground conservation projects,” Schenck said.
