Stride on Saturday

The 15th annual University of Idaho stride for gold, the only major fund-raising event for women’s athletics, is Saturday at 9 a.m. in the Kibbie Dome.

The event has raised more than $500,000 the last 14 years, said Kathy Clark, senior associate athletic director.

This year’s goal is $50,000.

Vandals TV

Idaho’s football game against Wyoming on Saturday will be televised live in Moscow on channel 13. Kickoff is noon PST. Satellite coordinates are GE3 (Ku), transponder 18.

Volleyball

University of Idaho coach Carl Ferreira will present pre-match “chalk talks” before each of the Vandals’ remaining home matches, starting with tonight’s match against Nevada. Each session will begin in Room B1 of Memorial Gym at 6:30 p.m. Matches start at 7.
