The council will hold a public hearing on a federal law enforcement block grant and vote on two proposed zoning changes.

Spokane County Commission

Tuesday, 9 a.m., weekly briefing, county courthouse, 1116 W. Broadway.

10:30 a.m., executive session to discuss potential litigation, county courthouse.

11 a.m., meeting with Superior Court Judge Kathleen O’Connor to discuss the guardianship program, county courthouse.

2 p.m., weekly meeting on nonhearing items, public works building, 1116 W. Broadway.

3 p.m., executive session to discuss pending litigation, county courthouse.

5 p.m., board meeting for hearing items, public works building. Agenda includes a decision on Inland Power & Light Co.’s request for a countywide franchise.

City hearing examiner

Tuesday, 9 a.m., conference room 6C, sixth floor, City Hall.

The examiner will hear an application for a zoning change at 6225 N. Standard.

Spokane County Commission

Thursday, 11 a.m., meeting with budget director Marshall Farnell to discuss the county’s 2001 budget, county courthouse.

Thursday, 9 a.m., fifth floor conference room, City Hall.
