Register: Learn Birds, Flowers

Wildflowers and native birds are the focus of two courses being taught starting this month.

A beginner’s workshop by local birder Maurice Vial includes an indoor session April 25 and a field trip April 29. Cost: $26.

A six-session wildflower identification course, taught by members of the Washington Native Plant Society will run on Wednesday evenings, April 12-May 17, plus a few Saturday field trips. Class sessions will be at North Central High School. Cost: $37.
