An e-craze has swept the business world in recent years, resulting in a whole new vocabulary of words beginning with the prefix “e.”
There’s e-mail, e-commerce, eBay and E-Trade, to name just a few.
But the e-trend may be on its last legs. What’s next? Think “i,” “d” and even “k.”

Look for light-emitting diodes to gain popularity in a variety of uses as the price difference between diodes and bulbs narrows.
Already, several municipalities have swapped diodes for red lights in traffic signals.
