Important events at Lake City Junior Academy

A group from Portland recently came and shared a pioneer experience with the school. The group led hands-on activities including carding wool, panning for gold, making bracelets and grinding wheat.

The school participated in the Eagle Watch Cruise on Lake Coeur d’Alene.

The keyboarding class is creating a simulated business and learning to create an Internet Web page.

The third- and fourth-grade class is planning a covered wagon trip to Fort Sherman.

Monday-Friday: Week of Prayer, including skits from students and guest speakers.

April 24-28: Outdoor School Camp for fourth- and fifth-grade students.

May 5: Walk-a-thon from the Beach House restaurant up to Higgins Point. Contact the school to sponsor a student.

May 8-12: Eighth-grade field trip to Boise.
