Seder Celebration

The Messianic Jewish Fellowship of Spokane will hold a traditional Seder at The Ridpath Hotel on April 19. The celebration of Passover will begin at 4:30 p.m. and will include special dances, worship, reading of the Haggadah and a meal.

Tickets are $25 and must be purchased before April 16. No tickets will be sold at the door. Child care will be provided at $1 an hour for children 8 and under.

Downtown church benefits

Gatherings of Joy Ministry is sponsoring a food drive at the Spokane Valley Mall from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today. Donations of canned and dry goods will be given to the Calvary Baptist Church Food Ministry. The food drive is being held in conjunction with N-Shira-Pa, an African American festival.
