James And Laura Basden Spokane

James D. and Laura M. (Yeager) Basden renewed their wedding vows March 11 at First Christian Church in Coeur d’Alene in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married in that church on March 11, 1950.

Following the ceremony, their son and daughter-in-law, Mathew and Lisa Basden, hosted a family dinner at King Restaurant.

Their other children and spouses are Francene and Phil Leines, Spokane; David Basden and Patricia Sandifur, Rogue River, Ore.; Connie and Arn Huseby, Miles City, Mont.; and Lynn and Mike Payeur, Naples, Maine.

The Basdens have eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
