Kathryn (Mullen) England Lakewood, Wash.

Funeral Mass for Kathryn Jean (Mullen) England, 49, will be at 11 a.m. today at St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church in Lakewood. Burial will be at the New Tacoma Cemetery. The New Tacoma Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. England, born in Spokane, died April 6.

She graduated from Eastern Washington University and in 1977 married George England III.

Mrs. England was a homemaker while her husband served in the military.

She moved to Lakewood, Wash., in 1997 from Germany, where her husband had been stationed for 10 years.

She was a member of the Roman Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Elizabeth England; four sons, George IV, Patrick, Joseph and Brian England; her mother, Agnes Mullen of Spokane; three brothers, Jim, Bob and Duane Mullen; and five sisters, Colleen, Dorothy, Barbara, Betty and Mary Jo.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Poor Clare Nuns.

Grace Clark Spokane

Visitation for Grace M. Clark, 87, will be at 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South. Service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.

Miss Clark, a lifetime Spokane resident, died Monday.

She graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1931 and worked as a secretary for the main office of Safeway for 36 years.

Survivors include one niece, Patricia Lauitzen, and three nephews, Dick, Mike and Bob Clark, all of Spokane.

Harold McKenzie Palouse, Wash.

Service for Harold Edward McKenzie, 80, will be at 2 p.m. today at Kramer Funeral Home in Palouse. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

Mr. McKenzie, who was born in Anatone, Wash., died Tuesday.

He graduated from high school in Palouse in 1937, and enlisted in the Navy in 1942, serving on board the U.S.S. Ajax during World War II. He was discharged as machinist mate first class in 1945.

He returned to Palouse after his discharge, where he began farming with his wife, Mildred. They retired in 1985.

Mr. McKenzie was a lifetime member of the American Legion and a former member of the Palouse Grange.

Survivors include his wife; one stepson, Karl Jones of Puyallup, Wash.; one stepdaughter, Donna Garden of Port Orchard, Wash.; a sister, Evelyn McLain of Genesee, Idaho; and five grandchildren.

Jurene Barr Spokane

Visitation for Jurene P. Barr, 82, will be held from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Thornhill Valley Funeral Home. Service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Spokane Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Barr, a lifetime Spokane resident, died Wednesday.

She was a graduate of Otis Orchards High School, and a homemaker.

Her husband, Lawrence, died in January.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Barr of Hayden Lake, Idaho, and Garry Hayes of Federal Way, Wash.; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Idaho or Hospice of Spokane.

Michael Andrechak Fort Benton, Mont.

Funeral Mass for Michael Andrechak was held on Tuesday. Benton Funeral Home in Fort Benton, Mont., was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Andrechak, who was born in Trebeso, Slovak Republic, died April 7. He was 80.

He served in the Army from 1942 to 1945 in the European Theater, and received a Bronze Star.

Mr. Andrechak lived in Chicago from 1945 until 1979 and worked in the graphic art industry.

He moved to Coeur d’Alene in 1979, where he resided until 1994 when he moved to Great Falls, Mont.

His wife, Dangy, died in 1980.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Andrechak of Urbana, Ill., and John Andrechak of Fort Benton, Mont.; two daughters, Doris and Carli Andrechak, both of Seattle; and three grandchildren.

Ruth Miles Spokane

Memorial service for Ruth B. Miles, 92, will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home.

Mrs. Miles, who was born in Tacoma, died Wednesday. She was a 20-year Spokane resident.

She worked as a justice of the peace in Stevenson, Wash., during the 1950s. She also was a traffic court judge and juvenile officer for Skamania County.

During the 1970s she was a house mother for the Alpha Phi Sorority and a cafeteria manager at the University of Southern California at Santa Barbara.

Her husband, Charles, preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Charles Miles of Spokane; two daughters, Shirley Graham of Portland and Joyce Hainley of Arnold, Md.; six sisters, Nona McKeller and Evelyn, both of Everett, Irene Frost of Bremerton, Betty Brooks of Phoenix, Doris Wheeler of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Phyllis of Hope of Magalia, Calif.; and 10 grandchildren.
