Final Ok Expected For Refueling Depot

Kootenai County commissioners are expected to sign a final order Wednesday approving a locomotive refueling depot near Rathdrum.

The Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway depot was approved by the commission in a 2-1 vote last month. A permit for the facility includes numerous conditions.

The commission meets at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Kootenai County Administrative Building.
