Prostate cancer is second only to lung cancer in killing American men. More than 180,000 new cases will be diagnosed this year and nearly 32,000 men will die.

With that in mind, the American Cancer Society is offering a monthly education and support program for men dealing with the disease. This month it will be held Wednesday, from 7-9 p.m. in room 267 of the Deaconess Health Education Building.

The April program will include a presentation by a dietitian, and the role of diet in preventing and fighting the disease. Programs will continue the third Wednesday of every month.
