Dishman Dodge To Move Between Couplet
Dishman Dodge will consolidate its business and build a $2 million showroom between the two legs of the Valley arterial couplet this summer.
Marlene Hollenback, co-owner of the Spokane Valley auto business with her father, Mark, said the Dodge dealership will build a semi-circular showroom east of Park Road between Sprague and Second. Dishman Dodge will demolish its truck service building and sell its used car center, which is across Sprague Avenue from the rest of the operation.
“One of our main goals is to consolidate everything in between the westbound and eastbound roads,” Hollenback said.
The Valley couplet, scheduled to open in October, will carry traffic between Intertstate 90’s Sprague Avenue interchange and University Road. Westbound vehicles will travel on Sprague while eastbound traffic will be routed onto a new four-lane road following First and Second avenues.
Dishman Dodge also plans to remodel its showroom, adding up to eight new service bays to replace those that are lost when the truck center is demolished.
Hollenback said the company hopes to move into the new building by summer 2001.
