Roy Wilson Spokane
Visitation for Roy G. Wilson, 88, will be from 8 a.m. to noon today at Heritage Funeral Home. Service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park.
A 55-year Spokane resident, Mr. Wilson died Tuesday. He was born in Spokane.
He entered the Army in 1942 and served in the Pacific and Atlantic theaters in logistics during World War II. He retired as lieutenant colonel in 1971.
Mr. Wilson later worked as a supervisor for the Postal Service.
He was a member of the Eagle and Elk lodges, Veterans of Foreign War and the Sons of Norway.
His wife, Anna, preceded him in death Survivors include two sons, Roy Wilson of Spokane and Dennis Wilson of Mill Creek, Wash.; four daughters, Margaret Bland of Vancouver, Wash., Patricia Wilson of San Francisco and Jean Blake and Kay Ann Bocian, both of Albuquerque, N.M.; two sisters, Violet Antosyn of Spokane and Wilma Schwartze of Edmonds, Wash.; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Union Gosepl Mission.
Thomas Corne Spokane
Memorial service for Thomas F. Corne, 71, will be at 5 p.m. today at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home.
Mr. Corne, who was born in Clear Lake, Minn., died Wednesday.
He was a 26-year Spokane resident.
Mr. Corne served in the Air Force for 12 years.
He worked as a heavy-equipment operator in Minnesota, Montana, Alaska and Washington. He spent 1-1/2 years in Vietnam constructing airfields with Morrison Knudsen.
He was a member of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans and the Moose Club in Whitefish, Mont.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Helen; his mother, Eunice Corne of Columbia Falls, Mont.; two brothers, Ted Corne of Whitefish and Ben Corne of Fairbanks, Alaska; and four sisters, Nancy Schwegel of Whitefish, Mary Lawson of Ephrata, Pa., Joanne Stiles of Suisun City, Calif., and Lynn Sande of Park Rapids, Minn.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Spokane Humane Society.
Victor Cobb Spokane
Memorial service for Victor Earl Cobb, 77, will be at 11 a.m. today in the Sunset Mausoleum Chapel at Fairmount Memorial Park. Riplinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A lifetime Spokane resident, Mr. Cobb died Wednesday.
He graduated from Rogers High School in 1941, and served in the Navy during World War II in the Pacific and Atlantic theaters.
He worked as a truck driver for the Carnation Dairy, the Bohemian Brewery and Olympia Distributors.
Mr. Cobb and his wife, Edna, owned and operated the Beryl Tavern and Northridge Court Apartments.
He was a member of the Sun Dance and Wandermere golf clubs and the Teamsters Union.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years; a daughter, Vicki Gorder of Spokane; two sons, Ty Cobb of Spokane and Terry Cobb of Wilbur, Wash.; a stepdaughter, Barbara Galland of Coeur d’Alene; a stepson, Edward Johnson of Bangkok, Thailand; a brother, Don Cobb of Spokane; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Robert Haskell Spokane
Memorial service for Robert J. “Bob” Haskell, 47, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Thornhill Valley Funeral Home.
A 45-year Spokane resident, Mr. Haskell died Wednesday of complications from a surgery. He was born in Klamath Falls, Ore.
He graduated from University High School.
Mr. Haskell worked as a truck driver at Pepsi-Cola for 13 years.
Survivors include his companion, Julie Baughn of Spokane; two sons, Ryan and Brett Haskell, both of Spokane; a daughter, Angel Wickstrom of Spokane; his mother and stepfather, Jeanne and Robert O’Leary of Spokane; three brothers, Don Haskell of Spokane, Ron Haskell of Boise and Bill Haskell of Arizona; and a sister, Kathy Haskell of Spokane.

E.H. `Gene’ Hulsizer Fairbanks, Alaska
Memorial gathering and potluck for E.H. “Gene” Hulsizer, 69, will be from 2 to 5 p.m. today at Chief Garry Park in Spokane. Northern Lights Crematorium in Fairbanks is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hulsizer, who was born at the family home near Plummer, Idaho, died Tuesday.
He graduated from Fairfield High School in 1950 and served in the Army during the Korean War.
He farmed in the Fairfield area until he moved to Fairbanks 19 years ago. He then worked as a cook on the Alaska Pipeline.
Survivors include his wife, Wanetta; three sons, Dan Hulsizer of Spokane, and Randy and Barry Hulsizer, both of Fairfield; a sister, Darlene Judd of Rathdrum, Idaho; a brother, Wayne Hulsizer of Spokane; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Theresa Mossburgh Coeur d’Alene
Visitation for Theresa A. Mossburgh, 91, will be held Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. at English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d’Alene. Service will be Monday at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at Forest Cemetery in Coeur d’Alene.
Mrs. Mossburgh, who was born in Coeur d’Alene, died Thursday.
She was a lifelong Coeur d’Alene-area resident and worked as a nurses aide at Coeur d’Alene Homes and several other local nursing homes.
Mrs. Mossburgh was a member of the Lutheran Church.
Her husband, Floyd, died in 1954.
Survivors include a son, Norvan Mossburgh of Coeur d’Alene; two daughters, Thelma Spracklen of Renton, Wash., and Marlene Carey of Spokane; a brother, Alvin Gustafson of Spokane; 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Willabelle Moore Tekoa, Wash.
Graveside service for Willabelle Camilla (Griep) “Billie” Moore, 90, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Mountain View Cemetery in Forest Grove, Ore. Kramer Funeral Home in Tekoa is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Moore, who was born in Forest Grove, died Sunday.
Her family moved to Billings, Mont., in 1917 and she graduated from Billings High School in 1928. Her family then moved to Boise.
She worked as a secretary to the pastor of First Congregational Church in Boise and later worked at Safeway.
In 1935 she married George Moore.
Mrs. Moore worked as a personal secretary to the president of the Idaho Candy Co. until her husband came home from World War II in 1945.
They moved to Twin Falls, Idaho, in 1948 and she began working as the secretary at First Presbyterian Church.
In 1960 they moved to Tekoa and owned and operated the Tekoa Bowl and Restaurant. They sold the business in the early 1970s.
She then worked for Eleanor Cohn during the tax seasons.
Mrs. Moore moved to the Tekoa Care Center in 1995.
Her husband died in 1994.
Survivors include a daughter, Colleen Hawes of Kirkland, Wash.; a sister, Ellen Wirtz of Forest Grove; and two grandchildren.

Gail Lambert Spokane
Memorial Mass for Gail Louise (Davis) Lambert, 80, will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 1503 W. Dean. HennesseySmith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A lifetime Spokane resident, Mrs. Lambert died Tuesday.
She worked as a dietician for local hospitals.
Mrs. Lambert volunteered with Meals on Wheels, the literacy program at Roosevelt Elementary, and at Sacred Heart Hospital. She also participated in the start-up of the Dishman Hills Conservancy.
Her husband of 50 years, John, died in 1993.
Survivors include two daughters, Lynn Fenneman and Stephanie Lambert, both of Seattle; a son, John Lambert of Westfield, N.J.; a brother, Stuart Davis of Spokane; two sisters, Carol Davis-Miller and Joy Ennis, both of Spokane; and two grandchildren.

Pearl Horey Spokane
Funeral Mass for Pearl M. Horey, 95, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Nova Scotia, Mrs. Horey died Tuesday.
She was a 65-year Spokane resident and worked as a receptionist for Dr. Dennis Kelly for 15 years.
She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Her husband, Richard, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Richard Horey of Spokane; three daughters, Rosemary Procunier, Carol Ann Olmstead and Lynda Schuerman, all of Spokane; 22 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Jerry Phillips College Place, Wash.
Memorial service for Jerry A. Phillips, 58, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Cheney Funeral Chapel. Herring Groseclose Funeral Home in Walla Walla is in charge of arrangements.
A longtime former Spokane and Cheney resident, Mr. Phillip died Monday. He was born in Spokane.
A long-haul truck driver, he recently moved to College Place.
Survivors include two daughters, April Morris of Spokane and Jamie Phillip of Endicott, Wash.; a son, Brandon Phillips of Endicott; his mother, Hilga Phillips of Spokane; and three brothers, LeRoy Phillips of Spokane, Donald Phillips of Lynnwood, Wash., and Carl Phillips of Hawaii.
Alphonso Keilbach Hayden Lake, Idaho
Service for Alphonso Keilbach, 96, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Post Falls. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery in Coeur d’Alene.
Mr. Keilbach died Wednesday.
He was born in Denver and in 1909 his family moved to Hayden Lake.
He worked on the family farm in Hayden Lake. He also worked for the Postal Service for 50 years and retired in 1970.
He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
He is survived by a sister, Helen Farrar of Spokane.
