Harold and Elaine Wimpy celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 12 with a dinner at The Windows of the Season and a surprise reception that followed.

Hosts for the event were son and daughter-in-law: Paul and Wanda, Wimpy, Kennewick; and son, Thomas Wimpy, Spokane.

The couple were married Aug. 12, 1950, in Spokane. They have three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
