Broken Wrist Sidelines Tenner
Idaho senior running back An- thony Tenner suffered a broken bone in his wrist during a scrimmage Saturday and likely will miss the season.
Tenner is scheduled for surgery on Wednesday. He was Idaho’s leading rusher last season with 764 yards. He has 1,558 career rushing yards, 12th on Idaho’s all-time list.
Senior Willie Alderson had claimed the starting tailback job, even before Tenner’s injury. Idaho opens the season Saturday against Washington.
Because Tenner played as a true freshman, he has a redshirt year available.
