Allegro Playing At Historic Home
Allegro will stage “A Victorian Christmas” as part of its Music in Historic Homes series, Wednesday and Thursday in a historic home in Browne’s Addition.
The concert will be at the home of Mary Bronson Moltke, 1923 W. First, one of the Victorian-era homes also on the Spokane Preservation Christmas Tour. The event includes a home tour and light refreshments. Allegro sittings are at 3, 4:30, 6 and 7:30 p.m. both days, however, all of the Wednesday sittings and the Thursday evening sittings are sold out. Limited tickets for the 3 p.m. Thursday sitting are still available.
Music will be themed for the season and is from the baroque, classic and romantic periods. It will be performed by Beverly Biggs on fortepiano, David Dutton on oboe and Louise Butler on the cello.
