Avery Van Steenwyle exchanged wedding vows with Travis Nelson in a July 15 ceremony at Bethel Church of the Nazarene.

The bride is the daughter of Jennifer Van Steenwyle and Mark Van Steenwyle, both of Medical Lake. The groom is the son of Betty Nelson, Spokane.

The reception was at The Woman’s Club. The couple are living in Spokane after a honeymoon in Orlando, Fla.

The bride, a graduate of Eastern Washington University, is employed as a marketing coordinator at Krows Nest Entertainment. The groom, who graduated from Washington State University, works as a project manager at Lester Johnson.
