Gretna Green was the setting for the Aug. 26 wedding of Sherilee McGowan and Kevin Johnson.

The bride is the daughter of Peter and Joanne McGowan, Spokane. The bridegroom is the son of Pamala Johnson, Spokane.

A reception followed at the wedding site. The couple are living in Spokane after a honeymoon in Canada.

The bride, a graduate of Shadle Park High School, is an insurance agent at Marsh Inc. The groom, who graduated from North Central High School, is a truck mechanic at U-Haul.
