Freeman continued to roll against tough competition on Saturday, building a big lead and holding off visiting Deer Park 60-52 in a non-league boys game.
Freeman’s Jeff Hyndman hit 7 of 8 field goals and added 10 rebounds and four steals.
Adam Swinyard, closing in on 1,300 career points, scored 22 for Deer Park. The Stags have played at the last two State 2A tournaments.
Freeman owns wins over Class B powers Garfield-Palouse and Valley Christian - the only loss for both - and 2A Medical Lake.
