Washington Mutual Branch Bank Robbed

From Staff

A north Spokane bank was robbed Wednesday afternoon, Spokane County sheriff’s spokesman Dave Reagan reported.

A man entered Washington Mutual, 822 W. Francis, about 1:50 p.m. He passed a note to a teller saying he was armed.

After getting some cash, the robber left the bank and walked west, Reagan said.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20s or early 30s, about 6-foot-2, 170 pounds with a light brown goatee and mustache.

He wore a tan jacket, white T-shirt, ripped jeans, a knit ski cap and black, thick-framed glasses.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
