Shelter-Grant Applications Available

The city of Spokane is now accepting applications for emergency shelter grants available from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The grants are available to agencies that shelter homeless individuals and families and can be used for renovation, rehabilitation and essential services.

The application deadline is Jan. 26. Applications are available in the Human Services Department on the sixth floor of City Hall, at 808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd., or by calling 625-6130.
