The marriage of Rene Christina Henderson to Johnson Marsalis III was solemnized in a July 8 ceremony at the Berean Bible Church.

Lyle and Donna Henderson, Spokane, are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Mildred Marsalis, Mead.

A reception was held at the Valley DoubleTree Hotel. The couple are living in Spokane after a honeymoon camping trip along the Washington coast.

The bride is a bookkeeper at a doctor’s office. The groom, a graduate of Spokane Community College, is attending Washington State University College of Nursing. He is a registered nurse at Deaconess Hospital.
