Nate’S Promise Foundation Taking Grant Nominations

People living in the Inland Northwest are invited to nominate local charities and organizations that serve children for a new grant. Nate’s Promise Foundation, a new organization founded by Pardner Wynn, is now giving a $5,000 award every month to nominated organizations.

Wynn is the founder of Docent and Stanford Testing Systems. The new foundation got its start in November.

Nominated organizations can be either publicly or privately funded. They must provide assistance to children in some way, such as meeting the basic needs of needy children or offering programs for youth.

Nominations for the January 2001 Nate’s Hero award must be received by Friday, with the winner announced Jan. 29. Nominations must include the name and phone number of the person submitting the information, the name of the organization being nominated and why the organization deserves to be recognized for its efforts on behalf of children.

Information may be submitted to Nate’s Promise, P.O. Box 28160, Spokane, WA 99228 or send an e-mail to info@natespromise.com.
