Alan Keyes got a TV endorsement from filmmaker Michael Moore on Monday - but only a mocking one. Last week in Iowa, Moore pledged to endorse the first candidate who would jump into a mosh pit for his show, “The Awful Truth with Michael Moore.” A mosh pit is a crowd of people at a concert that often catches performers who jump in. Keyes took the plunge at the urging of his daughter, Maya, 14. To make good on the deal, Moore forked out $400 for an ad urging voters to overlook that Keyes is “against women’s rights, affordable health care and anyone who doesn’t refer to him as ‘ambassador.”’ Voters should support Keyes “because he jumped into our mosh pit.” The ad ran in New Hampshire on Monday night during a 10:30 p.m. showing of “Wheel of Fortune” and a 2 a.m. “Kojak” rerun.
