Potlatch Eliminates Wallace Girls, 55-48

The Wallace girls high school basketball season has ended.
The Miners were defeated 55-48 by Potlatch on Monday night in a loser-out game in the A-3 District I-II Tournament in Lewiston.
Details weren’t reported.
In another loser-out game, Prairie of Cottonwood ousted Lapwai 65-55.

Mullan 54, Kootenai 49
The Warriors’ attempt to overtake the Tigers was shortcircuited by a 6-for-26 shooting performance in the fourth quarter of the North Star League game.
Derik Stanley hit three 3-pointers in scoring a game-high 19 points and added six rebounds for Mullan. Jon Hall hit two 3s for Kootenai, but missed four in the final period. Dan Parrish had 12 points and he and Jarid Cress divided 12 rebounds for the Warriors.

Tim Fleming, scorching the nets for 20 points in the first half, wound up with 23 as the Miners routed the visiting Tigers in the non-league game.
Fleming hit 9 of 12 shots from the field, including 2 of 2 3-pointers. Jessie Holderman had 16 points, going 6 of 11 from the field, to lead Timberlake.
