Vandervert Building North Side Complex

Vandervert Construction is building a 105,000-square-foot office building on Spokane’s North Side.

The $7 million, three-story project at 605 E. Holland Ave. is just one-third pre-leased, but owner and builder Dick Vandervert said he doesn’t expect to have trouble leasing the rest of the spec building.

Vandervert said requests for office space have been numerous.

“We probably lost half a dozen tenants (before this project) because we couldn’t meet their timelines,” he said. “So we thought the time was right to build this.”

Cancer Care Northwest will move into the building in May, and the rest of the project will be complete in July. Page Russell Architects of Spokane is designing the building.
